Pay a lot for a little Feb 14, 2011

I thought this was going to be 1 or 2 capsules/day. Ends up the directions are for 3 a day, therefore, each bottle is for a 20 day supply. It is a better buy to order from Swansons. Only 2 caps are needed, and the bottle provides a 30 day supply.

The label on the bottle pictured on Amazon.com clearly says "600mg", "60 Capsules" but the label on the product that is delivered omits the "600mg". The back of the label shows "Serving size 3 capsules", "Amount per 3 capsules Alpha Lipoic Acid 600mg".
So the quantity of alpha lipoic acid delivered to customers is only one third of the amount indicated by the sales information on amazon.com even thought the UPC of the delivered product is the same as shown on amazon.com. One star for deceiving customers!!!
To be completely fair, I will note that the information on the product website alphabetic.com shows that three capsules a day provides 600mg. Unfortunately, that is not what is shown at amazon.com.
