 Favorite thermogenic. Low stim, highly effective Aug 20, 2008

I have never considered using a thermogenic or a stimulant fat burning product, mainly because stims wreck me but also because I've never needed to lose fat. After getting my diet and training dialed in, I added Recreate for an extra punch and noticed results halfway through the bottle.
Recreate had me sweating for the first two bottles, but by the third I could barely feel it. But barely feeling it is exactly the reason I chose it. The stimulants (only 75mg of caffeine per cap) are very weak, as this is NOT intended to be an energy supplement. The caffeine is necessary to jumpstart the process of lipolysis (burning fat for fuel), and is simply one of many pathways for fat loss in Recreate. With an intense weight training program, a dialed in diet, I was able to drop 4 pants sizes in the course of two months.
The most important thing to mention, is that while I was losing fat I was also gaining muscle. I did not maintain an extreme calorie deficit, but rather ate enough to continue a lean bulk that ended up with me actually only losing 5 pounds overall (from size 40 waist back down to a 36, from 215 pounds back down to 210). If you think "oh, he only lost 5 pounds", you are missing the point. The scale only shows an aggregate of your total body mass. What this means, is that while I was losing fat I was also gaining higher-density muscle tissue. The aggregate weight shift was actually more closer to 15-20 pounds over the course of the three bottles. I estimate I was able to gain approximately 4 pounds of muscle, while losing slightly more in fat _per month_. This is unbelievable, and if someone would have told me this could happen I simply would not have believed them. I gained size and strength while losing fat, and did not have to cut my caloric intake.
For those of you looking for a miracle diet pill, get out. The only real way to lose fat and keep it off is to get your diet in check, resistance training, and a solid will power. These pills will definitely help you get there, but the onus is on YOU to get right and stay away from empty calories.

The first USP product I used was Oxyelite Pro. I loved and and was getting great results, losing weight and burning fat like crazy, but I was short of my desired weight when I reached the maximum time for taking OEP and I was worried about re-gaining weight during the required 4-week break. I read a recommendation for taking Recreate during the break for those that wanted to continue to lose weight and burn fat. This product was less expensive than OEP so I thought it was worth a try. While Recreate didn't give me the same boost in mood as OEP, it has given me an energy boost for my workouts, helped me keep my appetite in check, and most important, I continued to burn fat and lose weight. I would have been satisfied just to maintain my weight so I am very pleased that I actually reached my desired weight. Recreate definitely exceeded my expectations.

I had heard about this product about 1 1/2 weeks after starting my healthy eating & exercise plan. I looked up several reviews at different sites. Many claim this products works for them. The reviews seemed to average about 70% positive and about 30% negative. Because it appeared to be a different kind of fat burner (I have only tried 3 in the past & of them only ephedra worked but now we know its unsafe) & because of mostly positive reviews I decided to order it. Like one of the reviewers on another site, I decided to continue with my 1st 30 days doing nothing but my eating & exercise plan. Then the next 30 days would consist of the same exact eating plan & exercise routine (except I did have to up some of my reps & poundage in my weight training in order not to stagnate with exercise) but with the addition of Recreate 3 pills daily (2 in am & 1 in pm). FYI- I'm a 43 yr old female with 50-60# to lose, something which I had planned would take 5-7 months.
The 1st 30 days without Recreate I lost 10# (I did not think to measure my self also in inches & do not have a body fat analyzer). The 2nd 30 days with Recreate, I lost 11#. I really did not notice anything different. No positive mood changes, no constant smoothe energy, no curbing of my appetite or loss of craving for sweets/junk food that many experienced. I hate to rate this product in terms of "stars". Just because it didn't work for me, it appeared to have worked for others. I believe that this is one product that works for many but not for all as per my research on it. UNLESS the positive reviewers were paid by the company to give it a good review; there's no proof of that.
MY advice: if you need to lose more than just 10-20#, try 30 days with it & 30 days without it following the same diet & exercise routine both times. Then you will know. To me that's the best test. And then give your review here. Reviews would be much more accurate if people tried products like this for equal periods of time(long enough too, not just 1-2 weeks) with & without the products.

I didnt like these when I first took them. I didn't notice a reduction in appetite or increase in energy (and I just finished a cycle of Oxyelite, so I was used to dramatic effects). But, I actually lost more weight with these. Like I said, I don't notice any effect at all, but I lose weight and, particularly, stomach fat. I just wish Amazon offered them on a subscription basis so they were a little cheaper. :-)

I like this product a lot, It's not as potent as OxyElite Pro, but it does the job. I switched to this product because I don't like to use the same product over and over.
