Research on fish oil has demonstrated numerous supportive benefits for the cardiovascular system, including preservation of normal heart rhythm, decreased platelet aggregation, and maintenance of normal blood lipids. Other benefits include improved insulin sensitivity, reduced formation of pro-inflammatory cytokines and enhanced neurotransmitter formation. Omega-3 fatty acids also support kikney function and normal cell proliferation. This is a high quality fish oil and worth the price. Sure you can find cheaper (lower quality) if you look for it, but for me quality matters.

I used this product for several months with my dogs thinking it had the highest EPA/DHA concentrate until I was browsing my local Rite Aid and found some Wild Eye Salmon Sockeye Fish Oil pills with even higher dosages. It cost half what this bottle does for the same about of pills. If you're looking to save some money I recomment checking out your local drug store and reading the contents of the pill bottle.
