Don't trust misinformation. Jun 25, 2008

A lot of people trying out supplements like these just don't have realistic expectations, and it shows. Let's bring the white elephant into the room- weight loss pills are loaded with caffeine and other stimulants. You will react to these supplements just like you react to any large dose of caffeine. This can include shakes, jitters, trouble sitting still, and trouble falling asleep potentially for several hours after taking the supplement. These are all normal, everyday reactions to caffeine that you can examine for yourself by downing a Mountain Dew or a Red Bull or too much coffee. Just like the packaging says, you should start off with a single dose after a meal to judge your reaction- I'm a very large male with high caffeine tolerance, and I was still left jittery and sweating after my first dose.
Aside from the caffeine, there's not too much to say about Stacker 3. The most important is that Stacker 3 does not have ephedra, a stimulant pulled due to health risks. The second is that Stacker 3 is apparently trying to make up for the loss of ephedra by adding "cytosine"- a fiber that's supposed to block fat intake. There are few studies on cytosine, but the overall agreement is that it probably doesn't do much, if anything. Anyone familiar with "fat blockers" should also know that there are extremely disconcerting problems that happen when you use fat blockers (re: Olestra and "anal leakage")- rest assured, no one has reported cytosine doing any of that as far as I've heard.
So Stacker 3 is a stimulant, no more, no less. It's a stimulant that's refined into its third generation, including elimination of a potentially risky former ingredient. Will you instantly turn into a supermodel overnight? No. Will unwanted pounds just fall off of you as you take this? No. Stacker 3 is only to help provide an energy boost to help your pre-existing diet and exercise plan. Used according to the directions, and with great care on your part to STOP USING the supplement if you do indeed experience any adverse reactions (again, it is a large dose of caffeine), then it's a useful addition to kick your weight loss program up a notch.

It works! Mar 16, 2006
By LadyLestat First of all, like the previous user said, it does work, but it does have side effects. I experienced first hand that if you don't take it for a while, and you start back taking it, you will get dizzy and queasy. It also makes you feel that way if you don't eat properly, and just take the capsule. You definitely have to eat first, and then take it. With that being said, I love taking it. Don't get me wrong, I don't abuse these pills because you shouldn't with any pills diet or otherwise. You also can't expect the pill to do all the work either. I needed something that would help enhance my cardio workouts. When I take these pills, it helps to boost my energy (the caffeine) and it helps me to burn fat. As a result, that helps to keep my body fat percentage down. As with anything, it's definitely not for everybody, but I have taken everything from "AppleCider Vinegar" tablets to "Green Tea" tablets, and neither one worked like this one did. I can say this proudly now, but I used to weigh more than 300 pounds. I have since then come a long way, with this pill, and a lot of cardio combined with weightlifting.

Caution! Nov 02, 2006
By J. Gatena
"Vahn Strike"
I cant say for sure if this works or not. However, i can give reason for why i say that. I have a slight anxiety issue (before taking the drug) and while taking stacker 3, it increased my anxiety to the point of a trip to the emergency room due to a panic attack and waking up to a panic attack. It also caused more internal gas problems, sometimes causing really bad chest pains almost feeling like a heart attack. I was only on the drug for 1 week when these effects took place. So please use caution if you decide to take this drug and you are already dealing with anxiety problems... even minor ones. On the otherhand, my girlfriend was taking it for a few weeks and had no negative side effects. But the weightloss was minor. Although, without diet and exercise, im sure it would be slower.

Good Jan 24, 2009
By ainaraku I bought this awhile back, but never got around to actually taking them. I recently started myself on them, I haven't really noticed any weight loss, but they do give me energy. I haven't noticed any side effects, but I've always been one to hardly have any effects at all, even on other medications. Let's just say...I hate cleaning, and never have the energy for it, and yet here I am at 7am, after taking my dose and I'm cleaning the house and feel great. So there you go! :D
