Best quality at near new sugg daily amount of 600mg Apr 08, 2008
By Bette A. Conrad Source Naturals has been recommended as among the very top manufactureres for quality control by the best Naturopaths and D.Nut. and other specialists; and this is an extremely cost-effective price for this number capsules. Dr. Michael Roizen, Head of Cleveland Clinic's new Wellness Division recently said that adding 600 mg/per day/per adult is one of the major factors in restoring memory loss and preventing it, as well as relieving depression, Alzheimers, senile dementia, etc. His latest book, "You Staying Young" has the best info on this benefit; but this is the best price for a 2-cap close to 600mg/day regimen as I have found from a mfr nearly as reputable as Source Naturals. Very good. Aug 15, 2009
By Wyldchyldsmama Since this product had the DHA amounts that I wanted, I was hoping it would be smaller for my 9 year old daughter to take it. It was smaller than my 1000 mg fish oil so she tried it and was able to take it quite well after a few times.
Better then Others - Great Price - One A Day Jun 11, 2011
By MAN-Miami Bought for pregnant wife to replace pills that came with her prescription pre-natal vitamins. She says this one is far better with no aftertaste or nausea. Great price and quantity and only one pill a day to achieve the recommended dosage which is the same as the prescription brand.
Best fish oil/DHA I've found Oct 30, 2010

I've purchased a few different versions of fish oil/DHA capsules as a precursor to trying to get pregnant. My doctor recommended getting at least 250 mg of DHA a day. I've tried nordic naturals, which aren't bad, but I have to get the children's version b/c I can't swallow the 1000 mg softgels. Thus, it takes 8 of them to get the minimum, which really isn't that cost-effective even for the 360 softgel bottle. Their taste is "ok", pretty non-offensive, if a little odd. I stumbled upon these looking for a mid-size softgel. At 670 mg (I believe), I can swallow them with little problem, and only one fulfills my minimum requirement (275 mg DHA). Even better though, if I DO split them, there is basically no taste to a very slight fishy/fruity taste, and I've never had an issue with aftertaste/burps. Even if I get pregnant and subsequently have any nausea, I can't foresee these being an issue, which is a relief. I'll be re-purchasing when I need them again.

My doctor told me to start taking DHA (in addition to prenatals and folic acid) now that we're trying to conceive, and this was definitely the best deal I could find.
