Solaray Black Current Seed Oil is a good suppliment May 24, 2011
By Karen F I began taking Solaray Black Currant Seed Oil with Evening Primrose Oil twice a day in August 2010. I had seen an episode of a doctor's program where they said if you have a problem with thinning hair you should try Black Currant Seed Oil and Evening Primrose Oil. It took a full 6 months before I began seeing an increase in hair growth but I am definately seeing an improvement. I used to have an awful time covering a very thin spot at the crown of my head but I don't have that problem anymore. I would recommend trying this if you have a problem with thinning hair. I have ordered this product several times through Amazon and have had very good service. I usually recieve it within 5-7 days.

Made my hair fall out.... Mar 20, 2012
By BC Reviewer I started taking this because it was recommended on Dr. Oz for thin hair. I also started taking Biosil at the same time, again in hopes of thickening my locks.
My hair started falling out by the handful. It was scary, because it was about 4x the usually amount that normally falls out. I couldn't figure out what it was until I went on vacation a couple of months later and stopped taking these two supplements (I continued on with my regular vitamins, supplements, etc). About a week after I stopped taking it, my hair stopped falling out.
So technically I don't know if it was this or the Biosil that caused my hair to fall out, but I'm definitely not going to risk taking either again to find out!
An excellent supplement for me Apr 20, 2012
By Loretta I have been taking supplements for many years and the results are instantaneously good, instantaneously bad or I feel no benefit. This item, Black Currant Seed Oil, was in the instantly good camp. I had recently suffered the loss of a family member and due to that accompanying stress was losing full strands of hair. This reversed the hair loss for me. I also noticed it's anti-inflammatory properties. The oil seems to circulate thru the body in search of areas troubled by the swelling and pain associated with arthritis and zero in on them. Another side effect of the death of the family member left me with my first experience with gastritis. Although I am still dealing with this particular problem, this oil has considerably relieved the pain. I had not been taking prescriptions for any of these problems, just Tylenol. So, my problems, though minor in nature were beneficial to me and I would not hesitate to recommend it based on my experience.
