This pressure prevention product comes with convoluted, high density polyurethane foam topper. Cover is constructed from a soft, nylon, urethane coated non-vapor permeable material and the bladders contain an aqueous non toxic gel. Designated head and foot sections are provided. Premium Guard Gel And Foam Overlay is easy to clean because of the non shear and low friction surface. The size of pressure prevention mattress overlay is 34inch x 72inch x 3inch and comes with 1 year warranty.

Felt better...but was FREEZING! Feb 25, 2011

I have Multiple Sclerosis, Reynauds, Arthritis, Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension and Right Sided Heart Failure...so I spend a fair amount of time resting with my Oxygen. I do get pressure sores, on my spine and bum. My doctor had me try this gel mattered. It felt nice and padded, I liked that. However, it felt "freezing" to me. I always felt chilled. Adding to my pain. So, I am still looking for a solution. It is made very well, and a good value for the money compared to other padding. Maybe it would work for someone who is 'hot'all of the time ;-). Crystal-Mylove Dunton

This mattress topper is for my grandmother as a replacement for the one that wore out. We use it directly on top of the hospital bed. Amazon priced it about $100 lower than the local medical supply store, even with shipping. Remarkably, we received it within just a couple days. That was amazing. I understand they only last 2-3 years and getting a new one really improved my grandmother's aching back which happened as a result of the old one. We'll definitely be back for a new one in a few years. Very pleased with the overall experience.
