Beautiful Industrial Design - Worth the Extra Cost Oct 04, 2011
By ck70258 This is the most beautiful piece of industrial design I've seen since the MacBook Air. The handle is slimmer and more comfortable than the original Sonicare. The brush head is slimmer and lighter than the original. The head is now just the bristles and a slim plastic neck, and there's no longer that cavity where the magnets sat that got filled up with gunk. There's a line of glowing labels on the front of the handle - I'm not sure if it's an OLED display or if they've done something clever with LED's underneath the plastic of the handle, but it looks cool and different from anything I've seen before. The charger is a a beautiful chrome disk that recharges the brush by induction. A stylish glass tumbler sits on top of the chrome disk and the toothbrush is charged just by setting it inside the tumbler. It's a charger that I'm actually happy to have sitting on my counter. The glass of course can also be used to rinse your mouth after brushing. Finally the instructions say the brush has a 3 week battery life - if true that's about three times longer than the old Sonicare and a nice bonus feature. Which reminds me that there's a another cool charging feature. The travel case has a built-in inductive charger of its own. There's a mini-USB port on one end. Just plug in the included USB cable and your Sonicare charges while it's lying in its case. You can plug the USB into a wall outlet or any powered USB port (like on your laptop or your iPhone charger). The case, like everything else about this brush, is a little work of art. This is the most satisfying purchase I've made in a long while.

Great Next Generation for this device Sep 06, 2011
By D W Sams Have owned devices from this line of toothbrushes since they first came out. The new Diamond series fits my busy travel schedule with much slimed profile and very well thought out travel case that allows charging while the toothbrush is still in the very light and slim case. Seems to work well and the fact it an charge in the provided drinking glass when at home is very clever and innovative. Five Stars on this one.

Diamond clean alright Dec 07, 2011

awesome product. i don't think i've ever felt my mouth so clean. it's easy to use so you have no reason to be lazy to use it. on top of it it leaves you feeling so clean that you want to use it. the only thing that sucks about this product is that it doesn't have the uv cleaning thing but from my understanding you can buy it seperately but for the price it should be included.
regarding the claim the dude makes that the professional model is exempt from the warranty....that's a bunch of bull. not sure about the price and difference in what you get between the pro and regular model but the warranty stands. i bought this item not seeing his review and after getting it i saw what he had to say so i worried. i called their customer care center and questioned them on this and they said that ALL their products have a 2 year warranty no matter the model, or how you got it. i even told them that on the box it says not for re-sale and they again said it doesn't matter. now, my box didn't have something in there that i was suppose to receive in the box. i told them about this and they took down my info and said i'd recieve it in 7 to 10 business days. that simple and this confirms that the warranty stands

Diamond Clean Nov 17, 2011
By e-shih Excellent made, although it's about the same as HX6350. But the fancy look of the handle caught it's attention. And for those out there who travels a lot, it's an universal power 100 to 240v. Which it doesn't tell you on the web. It also works with Flex Care model brush heads. Which saves $$.

DO NOT BUY PROFESSIONAL MODEL Nov 19, 2011
By Michael Neal Do Not buy the "Dental Professional Model". This is exactly the same as the regular model, except you are going to lose out on a warranty if it breaks for some reason.
This is from Philips Sonicare website about the Dental Professional Trial Version: ----- Specially priced professional trial units are for the use of dental professionals only, and we offer these trial units as a courtesy to dental professionals and dental students. Although the product in the dental professional trial program is the same as any one of our commercial/retail products, it is managed and tracked through our Dental Sales and Services department. We prohibit the resale of our special dental professional trial products, and all warranty, guarantees and return policies are void, if a professional trial unit is resold. -----
So basically you pay a little more, for the same brush, with NO warranty. The doctor who is selling this is breaking the agreement with Sonicare.
