Healthy, therefore HAPPY Mar 15, 2010 I am a heavy coffee drinker.
I used this- after each meal (3x Daily) for a mere 2 weeks,
my teeth look SOOO VERY MUCH whiter.
My teeth feel much cleaner. I am very happy.
My entire mouth feels very hygienic and refreshed.
COSTCO has sweet deals on the Sonicare "E series" Philips Sonicare Essence 5300 Power Toothbrush replacement heads.
It comes with a nifty "hard plastic" travel case.
I even use it to brush after lunch, in the car while 'on-site' at work.
A Whole New Experience and Results! Mar 14, 2010 I'm sorry if I sound Enthusiastic but there are very few products that have overwhelmed me. I used to be a buy the regular toothbrush from supermarket and brush twice a day then replace every month kind-a-guy. Then last year I read an article where Dental professionals were recommending that people start using Electrical Toothbrushes for professional cleaning at home. After much research I purchased this unit and was astounded by the results. My teeth felt drastically better, my gum erosion slowed, my (occasional) bad breath disappeared and I did not feel any plaque buildup on my teeth.
In short an Electric Toothbrush is a MUST HAVE for your dental hygiene.
excellent buy and product Mar 12, 2010 I was very happy with this product, it is excellent and easy to use. I would recommend this product to anyone as it will extend the life of your teeth. Wish I had bought one years ago.
A reasonably priced toothbrush with features of more expensive models Mar 08, 2010 Pros: Affordable, extremely long battery life, automatic turn off after 2 minute brush, comes with travel case
Cons: Replacement heads a bit on the expensive side
The toothbrush comes with one replaceable head, convenient travel case and charge base.
After trying this product for about a month now, every time I use it, I still get that "clean from the dentist" feel. I use it twice a day and can get more than a weeks worth of use before charging the battery.
I noticed there were some comments regarding cleaning the brush heads. It is not that hard, wipe it with a cloth or run the water like any other toothbrush. Unscrew it one a week and clean the inside. It's a great product for the money.
Sonicare Essence 5300 Power Toothbrush Mar 07, 2010 This is the 2nd one of these that I have owned. I am completely sold on the quality of the toothbrush. Warning, there will be an adjustment period while you get used to the cleaning action of the sonic brush. Your teeth and gums will feel clean, like never before (or like after going to the dentist for a cleaning) in only 2 minutes. This brush does not have the quad pacer feature (every 30 seconds you hear a tone telling you to brush in another quadrant of your mouth). It does have a 2 minute timer though, so its nearly the same. Recharges very well in the base. Does not have the issue with water intrusion like the $29.99 battery operated one that you can buy the cheapest. Believe me, I tried one. You are better off buying this model. It will last longer, and deliver higher quality brushings day after day after day. You will save money at the dentist too with better check ups. Buy this model, you won't be disappointed, and you can pay more if you want and not get a better brush overall.
