 Buy a quality multi-vitamin instead Jun 26, 2010

I started the P90X routine about 40 days ago. I have been taking a multi-vitamin from Vitamin World -- Ultra Mega Man or something similar. I ordered the P90X formula here thinking it would be several different types of vitamins taken over the day to help with the exercises. I was wrong. It's simple packages of six pills that combined equate to 1.5 of the multi-vitamin I have been taking. Don't waste your money on this product. Buy a good quality multi-vitamin. If you need to spend your money, get some glutamine powerder to mix in your shakes to prevent muscle loss.

Let me preface this by saying that, as with any supplement, what works one way for me, may not work the same for you. Having been through the P90X program, I decided to use every tool available to give it a "fair shot". I used these vitamins for about a year (most of which focused solely on the P90X program). They seemed to provide a fair amount of energy to get me through my days, and the program, but didn't give me anything "extra". I have since switched to "Nature Made" - Daily Men's Pack, for cardio days, and "Animal Pak", for heavy lifting days. This method seems to be better on the pocket, while giving me the same, if not more, energy/ results for my days/ workouts.
While I am a strong supporter of the P90X program in general, I think there are so many alternatives supplements providing similar/ better benefits, it ultimately comes down to cost. This is a decent supplement to compliment your P90X workout routine. However, if you're just looking for a decent multivitamin or, a supplement for intense workouts, I think you can find better alternatives.

I thought these were ok to take while doing the p90x but the price kept me from ordering again. P90x makes great stuff, whether it is workouts or their supplements but it does come with sicker price.

Six capsules a day! But I do feel better on the days I take them and less so on the days I forget.

Great vitamins to supplement the workouts. P90X is demands vitamins and I feel these supplements fulfills those needs. A bit pricey but worth it.
