Great Multivitamin Oct 20, 2009
By Jesse D. Kramer For years I'd been taking expensive maximum strength multivitamin complexes that made me sick to my stomach. I'd go half the day feeling nauseated and lethargic. I was under the false impression that more of something was better. After doing some research, I determined a balanced diet with a light multivitamin was a better course of action.
One-A-Day essential multivitamins give me the key vitamins I need without making me sick. I can even take one without food or water and feel fine. I've also found I get sick less and have slightly more energy during the day. This is a great product for a good price. For people looking for a light multivitamin that won't make them sick, I highly recommend this product.

If swallowing those big vitamins is a problem, this is for you. May 24, 2009
By Fred C. Mcclanahan

Like most teens, my 15-year-old seldom gets the diet he should and taking multi-vitamins was a problem because he just can't swallow the big "horse-pill" sized tablets. This one is perfect. I can't speak to its nutritional value, but he will take them and that's better than nothing at all.

My Favorite Vitamin--Why Doesn't Everyone Buy It!! Feb 16, 2009
By Thomas C. Clarie One-a-Day ESSENTIAL vitamins are the best!! Why? The SIZE. They are very small and great to swallow for those of us who choke on anything. They are about the size of an Ecotrin 81. Many stores both home in New Hampshire and here in Florida do not sell them. My Walgreen's pharmacist in Florida never heard of them. When I asked her to show me her smallest vitamin, she put in her hand a vitaman 10 times bigger than One-a-Day "Essential." Yes, they only have 12 vitamins in them, and lack those minerals the huge, huge vitamins have, but you don't die choking on them. So far, I have converted five people into using them. I'll work on the rest of the world at my leisure.

Coumadin-safe multivitamins Nov 27, 2011
By acamay Taking the blood thinning drug Coumadin (Warfarin) means avoiding foods containing vitamin K. Unfortunately all of the multivitamins available locally have significant amounts of K added to them. This is the only commercial multivitamin I could find which does not have vitamin K. Unfortunately it also doesn't have some of the other micronutrients that some of the major multivitamins have. It is, as the name implies, the essentials only, but it is better than not taking a multivitamin for those of us on Coumadin.

Disappointed Product Removed From Subscription Service Jul 22, 2010
By edcaroleg

We love this product and have used it for years as it supplies 100% of all required vitamins (except vitamin A that we supplement with another product.) There are several One-A-Day vitamins available, but we prefer this one. We also love Amazon's subscription service and use it for several dietary products. Not only does it keep supplies from running out, the price is always lower than the price of individual orders. (The subscription price has been lower than any we have been able to find locally.) We are disappointed that this product has been removed from the available list and hope it is soon restored!
