Dr Oz had another doctor on his show who recommended Astaxanthin. I purchased BioAstin and love it. I increased my weights for exercise and usually can feel it in my joints. After taking astaxanthin for a few days, my joints and muscles feel great. The doctor said this is a fat supplement which means must be taken after a meal. Also, he recommended to take 10 mg a day. I take 8 mg and feel great. I would advise others to try it.

I bought this because it came highly recommended from Mike Ranger from natural news website.First off Im 49 year old female
After taking it for 6 weeks, 2 a day I noticed 3 things. My face skin tightened up and my folds on my sides of mouth improved incredibly my brown age spots on my face have faded.
Second I use reader glasses and been using a 175 strength now Im using 150 and I can see better at night can even now read the computer with out glasses.
Third, my knee joints don't hurt any more at all. So Im very Impressed with this stuff.

I often suffer from fatigue. After taking this product for a few days, I restore my energy and my fatigue symptom decreases significantly. However, this product causes me a little stomachache, I have to take it after having meals. It really works for my fatigue.

We discovered this product while touring the Natural Energy Lab of Hawaii. Astrozanthan, the active ingredient in Bioastin, allows me to jump out of bed rather than carefully rolling out to avoid all the pain of getting moving. We have used Bioastin for several years and won't be without it.

Just like the other reviewer, I too stopped getting sun rashes since I started taking these. This is a great supplement for those of us who are pale and sensitive to the sun. It is important to still wear sunscreen everyday which I do, but taking these as well offers a boost to the sun protection. One day last summer I was on the beach all day swimming and I didn't get burned - usually I'd be fried.
Edited: I would like to add that I've tried other brands of asthaxanthin and also the Sunpill, and I believe that the BioAstin works the best in terms of protection from uv rays. Maybe it's because it contains beta-carotene as well? Also, I don't really notice feeling more energetic from this supplement, just get great sun protection.
