XyliWhite Platinum Baking Soda Toothpaste Sep 28, 2010
By Thundarcat Non-fluoridated toothpaste a very good product to have in your home.
After finding out that Sodium Fluoride is a poison, I decided to switch to a non fluoridated toothpaste.
Fluoride is a bi-product from things like aluminum and fertilizers. And the FDA classifies it as a drug! If you look on the back of a fluoride toothpaste tube, it states: If swallowed, call your local poison control center.
So, if fluoride is safe, like they have been telling us, why would I need to call a poison control center??? (Not that I would be inclined to purposely swallow fluoride toothpaste as an adult, but your child might, cause I know I did). It is a known fact that a little bit of your toothpaste is swallowed each time you brush, and they recommend brushing 3 times a day. That's alot of little doses that end up being swallowed day after day. It may be good as a topical for your teeth, though not recommended because it can be absorbed into your gums and inside your mouth, also, it is bad for your internal organs. Fluoride also burns the skin. Imagine what it does to your body. You can research the facts for yourself. Just Google it!
I chose XyliWhite Platinum Baking Soda Toothpaste because there are not alot of choices out there, but I tried it, and I liked it. Never never never, will I go back to fluoride toothpaste!!!
PS: Don't forget to floss :)

Alternatives Sep 14, 2011
By Mocha Aspirations Platinum mint is better then XyliWhite's other toothpaste, refreshmint. It does great in terms of flavor but negative points when it comes to staying power. Though it holds together better then refreshmint, it still doesn't stick around by the time you're actually done brushing your teeth. A better healthy alterative is Tom's of Maine propolis & myrrh. That toothpaste has great flavor and sticks with brushing your teeth to the point you're done.
Those interested in knowing the ingredients to this product:
Water, xylitol, hydrated silica, sodium bicarbonate, glycerin, sorbitol, natural mint flavor, peppermint oil, sodium coco-sulfate, carrageenan, papain, tea tree leaf oil, sodium carbonate and potassium sorbate.

Good value! Dec 23, 2011
By Monique I like the natural ingredients, the clean feeling in my mouth after brushing, and the thumbs up from my dentist at my most recent visit.

By Mr. Richard H. Hansen tastes great, easy to brush with, have not gone to the dentist since started brushing so no info on that. I bought it because of reviews and it is fluoride free and free of poison ingredients.

So fresh and clean Jan 24, 2012
By M. Di Noto A great toothpaste. It leaves my mouth feeling clean and refreshed. No overpowering taste. Unlike some whitening toothpastes that leave a strange film on teeth, this rinses very well. I don't know about whiter teeth, but it sure brightens my teeth. I will see after the tube is empty. I gave it four stars only because it tends to get a little watery while brushing. However, since NOW omits foaming agents such as sulfites/sulfates and all the other garbage companies put in their products, I will deal with it.
