VERY Deceptive Nov 15, 2008
By Donald L. Schultz This is not 1000 mg per capsule. It is 1000 mg PER SERVING and each serving is 2 500 mg capsules. This is very miss leading and designed to confuse price shoppers. There are 100 500 mg capsules in each of the 3 bottles.

Works at lowering BG, however the packaging is deceptive. Jun 09, 2010
By J. J. Marino

My mother has mildly uncontrolled type 2 diabetes. She has been on several medications with little result. I had read that cinnamon can in fact naturally lower blood glucose levels over time, so a more accurate HBA1C can be taken. I bought 3 of these bottles for her to try out. After the first couple of days she said her BG was roughly 20-30 points lower than it had been prior to taking these, staying on same meds + cinnamon 4g a day.
-2 stars for deceptive packaging.
So the product works and works pretty well. I had not seen the bottles before I sent them to her and assumed that the pills were 1000mg a piece. You need 4mg a day to be effective. I had instructed her to take 4 a day because I thought each pill was 1000mg a piece. Instead she needs to take 8 pills a day. So where as I thought this was a good bargain buying this brand, it is in fact barely 13 days per bottle. So getting the set of 3 is just over a month and a little, instead of 3 months that I thought. Cheap shot Natures bounty. For real...
Its like the greasy food you buy says -0 trans fats- when the serving size is 33% of what you know you will eat all of. The reason? Because if its less than 1/2 a percent per serving size it can legally say 0. So playing tricks with serving size is despicable to say the least.
Summary: These will work for most people to lower your glucose level over time at the dose of at least 4g a day (8 capsules). I took off some stars for the sneaky labeling.

Excellent product that really worked Feb 26, 2009
By G. Wedgwood I had read that Cinnamon could help regulate blood sugar and my husband's blood sugar was going up. This was a reasonably priced supplement and we tried it. It worked -- his blood sugar is in the normal range. This was easy to order and shipped promptly and was effective for us.

Sold out locally Apr 27, 2009
By sandywitch Since some articles about the benefits of cinnamon for diabetics and people with high blood pressure, it's been sold out in all the drug stores around here. I'm so glad I was able to buy mine via the internet! I WAS borderline diabetic. I can't stand needles, so I wasn't about to have to stick myself daily and maybe take insulin shots. So I took cinnamon capsules and cut out sugar and salt (used substitutes) and cut down on fats and carbs. I lot 59 pounds and have no sign of diabetes!
IT WORKS ! May 21, 2012
By Ines G. I was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes last year and could not avoid the high and lows. Then, read that Cinnamon along with Biotin and Chromium may lower or maintain healthy levels of Glucose. I purchased all 3 taking them one capsule twice a day. All of a sudden noticed my glucose levels were constant within 100-120 range. My A1C went from 7.4 to 6.8 and now 5.8. I couldn't be any happier. This does work. I don't know if it is the combination of the Biotin and Chromium Picolinate along with the Cinnamon but it worked for me. Word of caution, always check with your doctor before taking any supplements. Good luck !
