My sister and I both have a De Ka Titan. I have daily migraines with aura, as well as complicated migraines. The De Ka Titan helps lower the intensity of my migraines. I still have migraines, but the pain is definitely more manageable. I wear the deka 24/7 (only taking it off to shower). I wear the electrodes a lot of the time, but when my skin needs a break from the adhesive, I wear only the bracelet. I believe it is effective with and without the electrodes. When I have a more intense migraine, I believe the electrodes lower the pain quicker than the bracelet alone.
My sister has Occipital Neuralgia, and migraines. She also wears the De Ka Titan 24/7. She loves the De Ka Titan, and cannot imagine life without it. I feel the same way.
The De Ka Titan was shipped to me in a timely fashion, and the company is amazing. I e-mailed the company to get more information, and the CEO wrote me back. He honestly cares about his customers, and will do anything to make you feel comfortable with the De Ka Titan. I have a very small wrist, and the sliding lock bracelet was difficult for me to adjust. He told me he would find a better band for me free of charge. I cannot give this company and its product enough praise. They are really making a difference in the lives of people who feel like they are out of options to manage their pain. They gave me hope for a pain free life.

In desperation for my girlfriend I discovered the Titan. She would have migraines for days. I was really reluctant to purchase, but decided what the heck it haves a 30 day money back guarantee.
She has had it for about 45 days now. She wears it when she feels a migraine is coming. It does not prevent them entirely but has helped significantly in the fequency and time of migraine attacks. If you or someone you know haves migraines I would give it a try.

I have had migraine headaches for the past 34yrs of my life. I had never heard of this product before but was willing to give it a try. My whole life I have been to numerous neurologist and as they described it: you have by the book migraine headaches and always wanted to give me medicine to take. I have searched for along time for something more natural to help me with them. My headaches normally are approx twice a month. Once I purchased the watch....I was so excited to get it. I have not looked back since!!! Normally the barometric pressure causes some of my migraines as well. My life has forever been changed. I wear the watch 24/7 and only take off for showering. This has truely helped me and I hope anyone else has just as awesome results! Best of luck!:)

As their ads say, it does not eliminate the headache, it just lowers the pain level. Like one night, I woke up in the middle of the night with about a 5-6 level headache. I put on the De-Ka Titan on my wrist and an electrode at the base of my neck. While, it did not go away, the device lowered the pain level to about a 2. I did not have to resort to my abortative med: Midrin. During the day, I wear it (off and on) without the electrode.
What convinced me to try the device is an ad by a UK disc jockey: [...] The recording also gave me some ideas as to how to use the device.
There are very few reviews of the product and the studies, done by the German Company, may not be (I think) double blind. I have only tried this gadget for the last two weeks.
Some additional information about my migraines, my preventatives are: Vitamin B2 400 mg, Coenzyme Q10 200 mg, and Petadolex 150 mg. I should take magnesium, but because of renal problems, I can not. Also, I do not take ibuprofens. My headaches are constant, on good days, about a pain level of 1 - 2 on the left side of my head. I have had them for about three years.
I have tried acupuncture, chiropractor, and an atlas vertebra adjustment chiropractor to no avail. Physical therapy did help, it lowered my constant headaches pain level down. I am also trying neuro-muscle massage therapy and that helped more than the physical therapy. These people treat the whole body and not just the area in pain (the neck and upper back muscles) like physical therapists. However, a physical therapist will give you stretching exercises that help.
Well, that is my experience with the device. I was not sure that it provided any relief until that night with the bad headache. In fact, I was thinking of returning it and getting my money back. I guess that you can tell if it really works when the pain level is more severe. One thing, so far, I have not had to take Midrin or Tylenol for the headaches.
I let a couple of friends use it to see if the device would help them:
1) The first friend suffered a neck injury about 25 years ago and has constant headaches. She said that after three days, wearing it made her whole body hurt and did nothing for the neck pain or headaches.
2) the second friend went through a hip replacement recently and after trying it for a day, it did nothing for her pain.
As for me, after trying it, for several months, I can not say whether it has helped or not. It may be that the neuromuscular therapy provided the relief that I earlier experienced, wearing the device. So I am revising the number of stars I earlier granted.
