This is just dietary fiber Feb 17, 2012
By Cresence Eberle LipoZene contains glacomannan, a water-soluble dietary fiber. As such, it may help with constipation, cholesterol, and weight loss. There was in fact a double-blind eight-week study conducted which appeared to show that glucomannan led to an average weight loss of 5.5 pounds compared to a control population. The association between gluconnannan and weight loss was not considered statistically significant, I.e. the apparent weight loss was within the bounds of statistical error and could as easily have been zero pounds.
The following is a quote from Wikipedia on gluconannan:
"Glucomannan is an ingredient in a variety of dietary supplement products marketed via television advertisements claiming to aid in weight loss. According to the FTC, there are no clinical data supporting many of the manufacturer claims and several companies have been determined by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) or the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to have, at some time, violated the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act. The companies include Vitacost,[13] PediaLean,[14] Herbal Worldwide Holdings,[15] BioTrim,[16] and others. The company Obesity Research Institute, the marketer of FiberThin, Zylotrim, Propolene and Lipozene, settled FTC charges that their misleading weight-loss claims violated federal laws by agreeing to pay $1.5 million in consumer redress.[17]"
Basically, Lipozene is a pricey version of comparable dietary fibers like psyllium husk (Metamucil). If you feel that a dietary fiber might be beneficial, you might check out first the lower-cost alternatives available through Amazon.

Gives you diarrhea Feb 22, 2012
By Lisa It gives you serious diarrhea after you start taking them & gives you the "gotta go right now" feeling so if you don't have a bathroom near, it sucks. I think it would work if you took them like you're suppose to & was able to go to the bathroom whenever the feeling struck. I'm a teacher so I'm not able to just leave my room whenever I get that "feeling" unfortunately.

"blessed"
The first day I took it and then ate 30 min later. I didn't feel hungry and I barely ate. The next time I took it I got a stomach ache bad, cramps, Nausea, and felt like crap. I also was full fast and hardly could eat. I googled side effects and these were normal. Come to find out these pills are just fiber. I can get fiber from eating food!!!!
