Let me start with what's mysteriously lacking from the product description, the AMOUNT of green tea extract is 400 mg (per two soft-gels). That was really annoying to not be able to find so hopefully that helps.
There's no shortage of information about green tea's benefits around so suffice it to say that if you have interest in anything from energy / metabolism to anti-cancer properties I suggest you check it out.
This is a more expensive source of green tea than some others but very high quality, and this source's price is quite good compared to much worse quality extracts at the supermarket.
I work out immediately after waking up at 6 AM so downing a couple of these with a glass of water is a great way to get moving.

I take two pills daily prior to my workout and I can honestly say there is nothing like the boost of energy you get from this product. No shaking/jitters or racing heart rate. I feel great and I'm getting in the shape of my life! Appetite is less, energy throughout the day is increased due to exercise activities 7 days a week. Amazon is the best buy for this product hands down.

On February 1, 2011, supplement maker Irwin Naturals agreed to pay civil penalties, consumer restitution, and and investigative costs to settle a suit in California due to problems with several of its products.
"Samples of the Green Tea Fat Burner tested over 14 times the legal limit of lead."
I had been purchasing this product for the antioxidant benefits of green tea (which I don't like to drink.) I have just canceled my Amazon Subscribe and Save subscription for this product. After also reading that testing of other Irwin Naturals products showed they did not contain ANY of main ingredient the label claimed, I will never order an Irwin Naturals product again.

I purchased the first bottle of this product at my local health foodstore, and found it less expensive here. I have tried SO many products to try to boost my energy and I usually end up with a racing heart or increased blood pressure- this product does NOT do that. I can't really say that it has caused me to lose weight (but then I haven't really tried it in conjunction with diet), but it definitely gives me more energy. I do not feel like I've had ten cups of coffee all at once (like I have with some supplements) I just feel more alert and energetic.

I tried a sample of this from a local health food store and gave it a week. I only take one in the morning and I definitely find myself with plenty of energy and some weight loss. I do limit my caffine intake to about 12oz coffee in the morning, so no worries about that. I did read about high lead levels that were found in some samples of this product. This was after I ordered it. Upon getting my package did I actually notice the California Prop 65 warning on the bottle. Not sure if it's safe over long-time use, but I am taking it with caution, am not pregnant or breast feeding. I guess we're exposed to heavy metals in everyday life, but use at your own risk.
