OMG! Nov 03, 2007
By bettynotsuzy this is my new best friend! i use this pillow on my back, shoulders, and neck for an awesome deep shiatsu massage. i have had a knot in my shoulder blade on and off for over a year, and this is hitting it sooo well (i have paid for massages, had physical therapy, and worked it out with a tennis ball, but nothing works like this! i plan to give several for gifts this holiday season.

fantastic Nov 27, 2007

I got this as a gift and couldn't believe how good it was. I've used other home massage systems and always ended up just throwing them away because they were no good. The rolling balls in this are so perfect and it's so versatile because you can place it anywhere on the body, even feet and calves. It really helps my tension headaches too. I'm going to get one for my dad. It's fantastic and the price can't be beat. I found it just as good as those $2000 chairs, but more customizable. Also, a tip is that if the rolling motion is too strong (i found this to the case when i use on my head) you can put a towel over it so it's more gentle.

defective product Mar 31, 2008
By D. Marsh I would have given this massager 5 stars for it's effectiveness, but like other reviewers have said, the interior got caught in the mechanism within 3 weeks and it totally stopped working. I have no way to return it because I don't have the box anymore, nor do I have my receipt! I have owned many Homedics massagers in the past and some have "burned out" after some time, but the best one I have found is the BKK 100. I ordered the SP10H for it's soft pillow, however Homedics needs to correct the flaw in the design so the batting and massage mechanism are separate!!! I can't recommend this product.

do not buy this, get the BKK-100 instead Oct 14, 2007

I gave my BKK-100 to someone who needed it right away. When it was time to replace it, I bought this, based on the stellar reviews. Sometimes I think people write reviews for the sake of seeing their words in print. This is a TERRIBLE massager. The fault lies in the fact that it has 2 different sized massagers, the right one, and a larger, flatter one that makes heat (and little of that). The bigger head does not allow the smaller one to make contact with your neck at all, completely negating it, and since it's a flat head, there is no 'shiatsu' massage, it's pointless. I sent it back and re-ordered the BKK-100, and immediately wrote this to save YOU from making the same mistake I did!

Holy Cow! This baby hits it! Apr 16, 2008

OK - some people may be looking for a relaxing massage - this is not that massager. This baby gets down into those knots and tight painful muscles. Holy cow! I have been debating the right solution for my back pain for months... I am soooo happy with this product! I've spent a small fortune on chiropractic and massage due to my long hours of work - it's already paid for itself in pain relief and not having to go for a massage.
This baby hurts in all the right ways. No pain - no gain...
