Better air for flying Oct 09, 2011
By J. TOWNSEND I originally got 2 of these personal air purifiers several years ago at a clearance sale at a travel store going out of business. It has proven to be a wise investment. My wife and I do a lot of foreign travel by air. Often fellow travelers are sick and coughing/sneezing. Since getting these air purifiers, we haven't gotten sick at all from airline travel. We have also found it to be useful on trains and buses...or any transportation where you are mixing with the local population. The PAP hangs by a lanyard and gently blows ionized air over the front of your face. The ionization provides the purification. The one complaint I have had is the difficulty in finding replacement batteries. Even though the batteries are rechargable, they do not last long enough for really long travel, so a pre-charged battery is useful. I don't leave home without it.

Small Neck Jun 29, 2008
By Ora L. Bethea The product itself is great if you have a small neck and head. The lariat provided to me to enable the product to hang around my neck was 15 inches long. You must attach the lariat before you are able to wear it. Once it was attached it was only 12 inches long. I had to buy another lariat in order to wear the product.

Beware seller lies about claims, i received a used opened product, i am very disatisfied Jul 22, 2009
By B. Griffith
"B. Griffith"
Beware the seller sent me a product that was shoddily taped together. Its packaging was opened and it was obvious the product was sent to me in used state. Its warranty is only for one year. I am so dissatisfied with the fact the seller lied and sent me a used product after paying for it.

personal air purifier Jan 25, 2011
By M. Leonard The product is good, comes with a rechargeable battery and charger, which is good because the normal batteries for this gadget cost over £4. Don't know how long the charge will last, at this stage. Cheaper than many of its competitors but £4.65 on duty and £8.00 royal mail "handling charge" pushes the price up but is still competetive. I always travel on aircraft with one of these gizmos, but have misplaced the one I've had for years. Essential to kill all the airborne/recirculated germs which cause colds and sore throats on today's airlines. Don't know why they have put (kitchen) behing the description, this should read (travel).

Brilliant Personal air purifier/ionizer May 30, 2009
By Kemal This product is a very good personal air purifier or ionizer whatever you may wish to call it. It sends negative ions out and wipes out all the allergens and dust in the air that has been bugging me for so long. i think it's a good price too.
I think it was excellent that i got what i wanted on time, although i live in the United Kingdom and the were some extra shipping tax on the product which i never got told about until after i had recieved the product- it was okay because it wasn't too much, but Ace hardware store must say this before someone from the UK buys the product.
