I've been using the Enzymedica products now for about 2 years. A friend gave me a CD to listen to. It explained each of the Enzymedica products in detail. I had my gallbladder removed 10 years ago and suffered from Pancreatitis for a short while as well. Since then, I've had issues with reflux and digestion. This product has done wonders for me and I highly recommend you at least try it. I started with the 30 capsule size of the Lypo product since my problem is primarily with fat digestion. Last year however, I began taking the Digest Gold and it has done wonders for me. Basically, it makes it so I can eat whatever I want without fear of major indigestion or pancreatic flare-ups. I take 2 capsules before really fatty meals and 1 for moderate meals. If I'm having a salad, soup or something, I don't take it at all. The product also helps A LOT with constipation. If you take this product daily, you never have to worry about it. I took a few capsules with me on vacation. My 70 year old aunt wasn't feeling well. She complained of "stomach trouble". It apparently runs in my family this "stomach trouble". Well, I gave her 3 or 4 of the Digest Gold to take over a period of 2 days and now she's hooked. 20 years of stomach trouble gone! The prescription medicine she takes costs about the same but is less effective. She likes Digest Gold so much, she has asked for a bottle for Christmas. All I can say is try it. The product really works.
As for the previous negative review. I've never had any problems with the product. It sounds as if his problem is with the dealer, not the product. Be careful to purchase from a reputable dealer and always check the expiration date before buying.

i have been taking some form of Zantac for 12 years, and in the last three years my husband had started taking it. i read about Digest Gold and all the reviews and decided to try it. it was the best decision i have made. My husband and I no longer take Zantac at all. we only take one Digest Gold at supper time and it has worked wonderfully. if my husband thinks his stomach is going to be upset he takes one. we now don't even take them daily, usually only three or four times a week and we still don't have problems. i will keep using these and am very happy that I found these that work natuarlly instead of the Zantac which is not natural to your system.

As a mostly raw, all vegan person, I don't usually have the need for enzymes. However, there are times that I eat cooked food and I like a little help in the digestion department for that... especially with beans. This stuff works wonders! I can't imagine my dining experience at Chipotle for a vegan burrito without 1 of these pills. It greatly helps reduce any bloating for me, too.

Digest Gold is an excellent product. Since I started using Digest Gold (1-2 capsules before each meal) I no longer have digestive upsets. I wish I had known about this product sooner. I recommend it to anyone with digestive issues.

If you want to get the most out of this, make sure of a few things right off the bat:
1 - Choose a fast shipping method (1 or 2 days) so that it doesn't sit in a hot truck or warehouse for too long.
2 - Send it to your employer address so you can put it directly in the fridge upon arrival. As apposed to it sitting on your front porch in the sun all day.
3 - Keep these in your fridge!
My Integrative PCP suggested this brand of enzyme. This is valuable information, because there are many enzyme formulas out there claiming to be the best. Some charging a lot of money.
I've found this to be effective in speeding my impaired digestion and lowering instances of GERD and gastritis. I will actually take 3 of these pills each meal. I hope I don't have to continue this pace, but it provides me the most relief. I'll take one at the first bite, one in the middle of the meal, and one at the end of the meal. If I'm having a desert, I wait until I'm done with it to take the final enzyme pill.
In my course of treatment, I've discovered I've had impaired pancreas function possibly due to gallstones. I'm about to get an ultrasound, but I have been able to get relief from using enzymes like this because they reduce the load of the pancreas to digest certain food. With an impaired bile production, I need all the help I can get. Hopefully, with the right care, I can get that fixed and possibly need less of these with a meal. But for now, these really are a great crutch.
