I bought DexMax the day before Valentines day and starting taking it right away. I was surprised that it does curb my cravings big time. I think the main issue with people who rely on diet pills is that they expect the diet pill to do all the work. Really I just wanted something to give me some energy and something particularly to curb my cravings for suger and this does just that.
With my cravings curbed I can make better decisions as to what I should be eating (I had a small piece of steak and broccoli for dinner, nuts and some 99% fat free turkey and ham for lunch, and an apple and low sugar yogurt for snack and a cup of Wheaties for a late night snack and I am quite satisfied). Without those crazy cravings I don't grab a cookie or a Snickers for a snack. I don't go back for seconds at dinner anymore. I don't take naps anymore either.
I have tried many diets before (Low Carb, Weight Watchers, Fat Loss 4 Idiots) and I have successfully lost weight on all of them, but I gained the weight back b/c I couldn't control my cravings. That is the key to any successful weight loss program I believe. Taking DexMax allows me to successfully do my favorite weight loss program: Fat Loss 4 Idiots. I eat what I want and lose half pound to one pound a day. Of course, I work out whether I diet or not b/c it is so much fun. I walk for 30 minutes or I use the gazelle. I want to lose 30 pounds and have already lost 2 pounds since Valentines day. Today is the 16th of FEB.
I only take 3 pills a day: 2 in the morn and 1 around 3-4 p.m. when I feel like the cravings will be back. I do not get headaches or the jitters. I don't get stomach cramps either. As when I drink coffee or Pepsi, my heart speeds up, but it doesn't last very long. Not even an hour. So, I stay away from other caffeine drinks for now. I trusted Dexitrim b/c it has been around for so long and my sister used it years ago to lose her baby weight successfully. For people who experience light headedness or headaches it could come from not eating. If a diet pill curbs your appetite so much that you don't want to eat, then you need to be sensible and force yourself to eat 3-4 healthy meals a day or cut back your dosage of the diet pill. The first day I took this pill I didn't want to eat, but I ate b/c I didn't want to get sick. The directions say you can take four a day, but I may take two a day if that is all I feel I need.

I started a nutrition program with controlled portions and a calorie cap that was way under what my super bad eating habits had racked up each day. I was coming home wanting to just eat everything in the fridge and ruin a whole day of doing well until I bought these. I take two in the morning, two more around 4 and I have not felt that need to gnaw off my arm or push children aside to get at a cheeseburger. I don't usually work out until later in the day and find I still have enough energy at that time to easily handle the gym. I'm not jittery at all from the caffeine - usually a cup of coffee will keep me up to 2 am but not having any trouble with these. It's just a week in but I'm very happy with this product so far.

I have only used this product for a few days, but it is indeed suppressing my appetite. It's subtle, but I find it far easier to say no to snacks and I'm not as food-focused when I'm bored. I'm using just the morning dose to start with, but it doesn't make me feel agitated or excitable. In fact, I feel a little more upbeat. Hoping to see results on the scale soon.

A few years back I weighed almost 250lbs some how I lost it to the tune of 150 lbs and kept it off for almost 3 years! But sadly recently I have had a serious weight gain of almost 50 pounds! I have tried everything! My hunger was out of control; if it was not nailed down I was eating it and my portion sizes were way too big! I knew things were getting out of control- and it all started with my boyfriend wanting to "fatten me up" Well, the more take out food and eating larger meals my stomach stretched! The more I felt I had to eat!
I had read the reviews and for the most part saw great reviews, so on a whim I thought what do I have to loose? I tried it today took one about 11am and I am a coffee drinker too, had NO SIDE EFFECTS except for the fact I felt full after eating very little and it lasted clear into the afternoon! No hunger! No feeling that I had to eat or snack!
I took another about 4pm and ate at 5pm- I was SO PLENSENTLY SURPRISED when I sat down to eat and barely ate 1/4 of what I would normally eat! I made sure to include allot of vegetables with my dinner and ate those before I got the main coarse and by the time I got to the main course I was FULL!
I finally feel like I am BACK to eating the way I USED TO EAT!
Like with all the diet pills on the market I was VERY LEARY but again I had read nothing but great reviews- I had tried others they just didn't work- THIS ONE DOES! AND THIS IS ONLY THE FIRST DAY. I can't speak for weight loss but I can say it does curb your HUNGER with out jitters! And again I am pretty heavy coffee drinker on top of taking this!

I took the pills for two weeks. I had frequent headaches, bouts of dizziness, stomach discomfort, and I was irritable.
Also, it only controlled my appetite for a couple of hours. After the medication wore off, I was ravenous.
I lost two pounds. But given my experience, it is not worth continuing with this product.
