Moving and shaking Jan 01, 2008
By Dr. G. J. Banks I first used a Body Blade in recent physical therapy - I quickly saw that it was one of the most innovative exercise devices I've seen. It comes with a poster showing the wide variety of exercise routines for which it is beneficial. It works muscle groups that are otherwise hard to trigger voluntarily, and is especially good for improving core muscle strength and balance (when used with a balance disk or beam - highly recommended). Also, it is difficult to overstress muscle groups because of the unique way this works. It is easy to carry on business trips, providing a way of exercising in motel rooms and at odd times when the gym is not the best place to go.

Use of a Body Blade as part of my physical therapy helped me avoid surgery for a damaged rotator cuff. I highly recommend it.

Wrong item shipped Jul 20, 2010
By BodyBlade Purchaser The bodyblade is a great product. It's pretty expensive for what it actually is, but it really helped me with shoulder therapy. I've even seen ways in which it could be a really good regular workout item. After I was discharged from physical therapy, I purchased the pro version here through BigFlySports, but I recieved the classic. I don't know if this would apply to all sellers of bodyblade, but the bodyblade I receive was also kind of battered. The poster was wrinkled and the dvd case was bent, but the important item was still fine. (Even though it was the wrong one.) Anyway, I'm sending this one back and buying another bodyblade through another seller on Amazon, I don't really trust BigFlySports.
Pro: great for joint and muscle stability
Con: expensive, possibly bad seller

I first used this device while I was in physical therapy after rotator cuff surgery. It actually works as claimed. I bought one for myself and I'm very happy with it.
