4Works great but beware which one you get.  Oct 20, 2011
By Tyler
This is technically the 3rd bottle i have bought. the first bottle has this description on the bottle:
RoxyLean ECA
Pharmacological Weight Loss
686mg/capsule
Pharmaceutical Grade

The bottle above worked great. I only took 1 capsule a day so it lasted me 2months. lost 10lbs. then was off of it for over a month as it recommends.
Then just recently i ordered a 2nd bottle and started using it a couple weeks ago. when i took this it this time i felt weird. not a good weird either but nausea that didn't go away. i had a bit of nausea on my 1st bottle but it went away after an hr or so. this 2nd bottle didn't. it also gave me stomach cramps that made me want to go empty my bowels. felt like a laxative. then after a week i decided to take a closer look at the bottle and noticed it looked the same but they changed the formula. the 2nd bottle read as:
RoxyLean (it didn't say ECA)
Medi-Biological Weight Loss
725mg/capsule
Professional Grade

As you can see even though i ordered from the same place (Amazon - fullfilled by Amazon) and the same site page i got two different types. the 2nd bottle feels way more strong and makes you go to the bathroom a lot like a laxative.

I emailed Amazon about it and stated i wanted the Pharmaceutical Grade not the New formula Professional Grade. Because the site says the Pharmaceutical grade. So they sent me a new bottle free of charge for the mishap.

All in all RoxyLean is GREAT! but make sure which Grade you get when ordering. like i mentioned the 2nd bottle was a higher dose at 725mg/capsule compared to 686mg/capsule. I also found out that there are even higher doses so again be careful which one you order.

5It works, and it scares me.  Feb 02, 2012
By spookyu
I wanted to write a review from someone who isn't a fitness fiend, but also not someone looking for a miracle pill (which some have already argued this is, it seems). Before I get into the nitty gritty, I'm here buying my third bottle because this stuff WORKS. I'm active duty military, and last time I deployed I had a lot of time to go the gym, and for the first time in a long time I was fairly happy with both my fitness level and my looks. Eventually I hit something of a wall, and one of the real meat head guys gave me this to try...roxylean launched me over that wall. I'm an active duty air force medic, so I'm skeptical to begin with of supplements, and I realize how dangerous they can be. I've literally watched my patients completely jack up their thyroid from taking insane amounts of supplements. One of the things this contains is DMAA, which is still up in the air if it is safe, and it can make you pop positive on a UA for amphetamines, though confirmatory tests show that you aren't a meth head. Plus it's obviously got a crap load of caffeine in it which can be argued to be unhealthy (FDA doesn't regulate supplements so I have no idea the true dosage of course).

Now all that being said...this stuff works insanely well. I'm a lanky young guy (6'3"), but if I get sedative I gain a lot of weight FAST, I got up to nearly 230lbs. Through my own diet and exercise I got down to about 205lbs but couldn't progress and couldn't figure out why, and it wasn't a muscular 205...just very mediocre. I started taking roxylean in the mid morning, it seemed to speed up my metabolism and peristalsis (the motion that moves food through your GI tract, this is a known side effect of caffeine and why some energy drinks will give you the craps). It eventually dropped me down to 190, but a nice lean 190, basically I wasn't embarrassed to take my shirt off anymore. I had a lot of time between patients so I'd start doing push ups every hour on the hour. Christ I could do SO many push ups, my muscular endurance felt a LOT better, I felt like I could hold a truck over my head no sweat. HOWEVER, when taking it your cardiovascular endurance takes a HUGE hit. You get out of breath quickly if you're running, you sweat a LOT more and will dehydrate faster. This could be good for you in some cases, means you get more benefit from less workout. In some cases it's bad, if you need to build endurance or get a faster run time, I strongly suggest you do not take this prior to running or even at all on your run days. Regardless....I put on a LOT more muscle then I ever had before (need to eat right to do that too, of course), and by simply doing my run PRIOR to taking the roxylean I was able to maintain a decent run time. Roxylean has a vasoconstrictor in it as well, that's another reason you feel dizzy, it's causing your blood vessels to constrict and become smaller. Your pulse will increase and may feel stronger or like it's "bounding", your blood pressure will go up, you will sweat more and those fluids MUST be replaced frequently and often while working out, more so than you ever have before. I guess when you describe it like that it's a little scary, but after about a week of taking it the negative affects will be less drastic and you can enjoy the better workout you're getting.

So here's a few real world, practical tips while taking roxylean. I suggest start by taking 1 cap, not 2 like it says. If 1 works for you, then stay there, if not, increase it to 2 but NO MORE per the directions. Hydrate extremely well before, during, and after your workouts. Don't take this after like...4pm-ish, not if you plan on going to bed that night. Don't take this and then sit around and do nothing, you burn almost no calories and needlessly subject your body to the stresses I stated above. As an experiment just try doing that just one time, you'll feel jittery for way longer and then really crash and burn, as opposed to when you work out after taking roxylean you feel a lot better and don't crash very hard after. Lastly, enjoy getting in shape! I'm sure this stuff won't work for everyone, but it certainly gave me the edge and motivation I needed to get in decent shape. It's just a damn shame I came back from Afghanistan, rediscovered pizza, beer, and video games, and gained all that weight back, hence why I'm now exercising and about to start using roxylean again to help!

Please please please understand that I also don't take supplements lightly, every capsule I take comes with a reminder that I COULD be irreversibly doing damage to my body with it....a mitigated risk I'm willing to take, we all gotta die of something right?!

4Definitely boosted my workouts and suppressed appetite  Jan 20, 2011
By GalapagosD
I bought this product because it claimed to be very close to an ECA stack. And my experience is that it is definitely good at increasing energy, raising your body temperature and decreasing your appetite.

I used to love to take Xenadrine and similar products when they contained ephedra...and although ephedra is no longer banned, I have found it very difficult if not impossible to find a good quality ephedra product.

RoxyLean, although it does not contain ephedra, comes very close to what I was looking for. Taking just one of these before my workouts increased my work output, raised my body temperature and allowed me to feel less hungry afterwards.

However, it is quite speedy...though not overly jittery. I made the mistake of taking two capsules on two different occasions and two capsules is definitely too much for me. Although the product contains lots of caffeine, I definitely feel it's benefits far exceed simple caffeine pills.

With similar products approaching the $40 or even $50 mark... I would say this product is a good value.

4Diet and exercise  May 02, 2011
By Spank'd McThomas "C. Castle"
OK... I lost 40lbs since New Years.

It's hard to say what it was, though. There's a lot of variables that could contribute to my weight lost. I've been exercising harder meaning more intensive interval style cardio mixed with cross-fit/ body weight training, a diet regime I got from reading the 4-Hour Body, a higher amount of protein intake with limits in carbs, and these pills.

I did a whole lifestyle change and have kept at it. My lean mass has increased and my body fat percentage has dropped notches. People have noticed, people in and out of the gym.

So, what do I notice when I take these? I am less hungry. I don't know if that's what I need, though, as I rather eat as long as it's good quality food aligned with my goal. I also notice a burning/ rise in temperature on my face like my ears are burning and my neck feels it's been lightly pepper sprayed (have you tried those capsaicin cream for sore muscles aches? it's like that.) I wish i felt the burn in my belly, though.

What I've done so far as in regards to in taking these is I have taken them for a 2 month period and then given my body a break for one month. During that one month break, I've stopped all caffeine (coffee, soda, tea), stopped creatine in take, and also stopped my pre-workout mix USP Jack3d).

It was during that one month break where people have been complimenting me in the gym. I thought that was kind of counter to what I expected. During that one month break, I did notice my focus and will dropping (willing to do another set, and cardio). But, that could've been due to my break in the pre-workout supplement, as well.

There's a lot of variable to consider to my progress.

If you ask me if I'm going to continue to take this? Yes. If it's all in my mind, well it's working. The truth is, I'd rank the importance of this fourth, underneath diet, exercise, and being educated in knowing your body.
